The Bent Festival is an annual art and music festival celebrating DIY electronics, hardware hacking, and circuit bending. Each year we invite artists from across the country and around the globe to perform music with their home-made or circuit bent instruments, teach workshops to adults and children alike, create beautiful art installations and to generally come together, face to face, and showcase the state of the art in DIY electronics and circuit bending culture.

Not so long ago Olaf started to build circuit-bended toys that he called doorags in a tribute to an amazing US Arizona duo. To spread the good news around the globe LCDD was formed--an improvisation band, a scenic platform.

We shared stage with luminaries such as Martin Rev, Enon, Atom Rhumba, Sonic Boom, The Rebel, Barbara Morgenstern & Robert Lippok, Pika Pika... in festivals like Sonic Protest, experimentaclub, La Nuit Blanche, Periferias, Mondes Hors Pistes, ANIMAC, etc. in Paris, Brussels, LA, Berlin, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Bilbao and of course Madrid.

This is the second LCDD tour outside Europe after 9 days and 7 gigs playing over Japan. We will repeat the experience from New York to Chicago bringing 8 arms & 8 hands to turn bottoms, surprise you and hoping make you dance.

Improvised toys sounding batteries included music.
